Looks as though the Patriot Center floor redesign is finished. GoMason.com has a time-lapse video of the process. The end result doesn’t look all that different, certainly not as flashy and as innovative as a lot of other schools have been doing. However it is nice to see that A-10 logo by the foul line. Here is the mock-up that was used:

Here is the old floor, you can see that the previous design had “George Mason” on one baseline and “Patriots” on the other. This new design has “George Mason” at both ends. It also seems the color of the wood staining is a bit lighter. And no more star logo in the corners? I was never a big fan of that and I think I might prefer this “less is more design” when I see it live.
