Patterson visited George Mason last weekend and spoke highly of his time in northern Virginia.
“I really enjoyed that visit. The campus is nice. Everything is nice,” Patterson said. “With all of (coach Hewitt’s) connections, he knows what it takes to get to the next level. He talks about individual development and he does a good job of it.”
He will be visiting LSU this month and still seems to be open with his recruitment. Patterson is one of the more highly rated point guard prospects still available.
Another recruit who visited recently, small forward Eric Lockett, is expected to be making a decision soon between either George Mason or Western Kentucky.
