Non-conference schedule released

George Mason released their non-conference schedule yesterday and it features six home games including Northen Iowa:

Mark your calendars for November 13 Mason Nation…@masonmbb home opener! See you at EagleBank Arena real soon! #WeAreMason

The previous staff did not leave much for this season’s non-conference slate so Dave Paulsen and his crew probably have to scramble to fill dates. However it is great to see old rival James Madison back on the schedule.

Any idea if Colgate Wagner and Penn are buy games? I know Longwood is. I’m just curious since its interesting to see Mason play 4 buy games, if true.

      I’m ignorant. What’s a buy game?
Also, any idea who is in the Charleston Classic?

Looks decent to me. Three Road games against teams with 19 win seasons. UNI at home should be a great test for us and then we have a few mediocre and below average teams visiting us at the “Eagle’s Nest”… I can’t wait to road trip it for the JMU and Towson games!

I hope there is some promotion about JMU being our oldest rival. The next game will be the 95th meeting between GMU & JMU. I’d vote for scheduling them every year at least until we get to 100.

I would be in favor of that because Mason always beats JMU 🙂

yeah even Paranoid Paul couldnt mess that up. He did however help Mason lose to Towson for the first time ever.
